John T. Weisel, has over 35 years of global experience in the professional services industry. He has built and led services businesses driving market-leading growth, acquiring, and developing talent and building best-in-class technology capabilities globally.  

Presently, John is the Managing Partner of The Antares Partners that he founded in 2021. Antares is a bespoke provider of advisory services to the services industry, including management consulting, technology services, and managed services sectors. They provide advice on business strategy, growth, talent acquisition and activation.

Previously, John was a Managing Partner at EY. He led the global financial services consulting business for over 15 years. John led the design and build-out of EY’s technology capabilities, its global managed service delivery network, its digital transformation and ecosystem platforms, and the design and deployment of its industry solution-driven business model. It was the only EY globally integrated business.

John was with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) for 16 years as a partner responsible for components of its global financial services business. He was a member of its financial services industry leadership team, which focused on the banking and capital markets sectors. He was responsible for the sales and delivery to several of its largest global clients.

John has served as the Chair of the Board of Trustees of Westminster College in Pennsylvania, a Board Member of the Montclair Kimberley Academy, a Member of the Board of Visitors of the University of Maryland, and a Trustee of the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church in New York. In addition, he provides philanthropic support to the performing arts and medical research.

John received his MBA in Finance from the University of Maryland and his bachelor’s degree with honors in Economics and Business from Westminster College in Pennsylvania. He also practiced early in his career as a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant. He has served as an adjunct professor in the business programs of several national universities.

John is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  John and his wife of over 40 years JoAnn reside in New York City, Telluride, Colorado, and Paradise Valley, Arizona. They have two adult sons. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, skiing, and the study of political and military history. He is an avid collector of professional baseball vintage memorabilia and is a cigar aficionado.
